BAGGAGE
BAGGAGE
If you were carrying around 150 kilograms of extra baggage,
do you think it would effect the quality of your life and relationships?
How would you feel about deciding not to carry around that baggage?
Where did you get it?
Why do you carry it?
How do you get rid of it?
What about karmic consequences?
What are some examples of the kinds of Baggage you may be unconsciously carrying around with you?
If you are carrying around extra Baggage, part of your Adulthood Initiatory Path will probably include encountering the option of not carrying so much Baggage around with you any more. What about carrying around no baggage? Wouldn't that be remarkable?
What about Karma?
What about scars?

Pack a travel bag so that it weighs exactly 33 kg. Take the bag with you everywhere. In every room of your house, when you cook it is next to the stove, when you shower it is next to the shower, when you sleep it is next to you.
When you go to work, you take it with you, and when you meet up with friends, the same. At the movies, it's down between your feet, and when you go to the dentist, the dentist trips over it. The bag is always with you.
Do this for a whole week. Write down all the feelings and emotions you have. Start sentences with the words: I feel anger / fear / sadness / joy because....

Do NOT try to create anything for yourself or anyone else other than being in First Position.
Yes, breathe, clothe yourself, drink water, eat, sleep, talk... it is Gremlin who would ask that question.
This is not about being fanatical, perfect, special, or the best. This is about being in First Position.

Go to the airport in the arrivals hall. Approach people carrying suitcases and travel bags and ask them, "May I take the load from you and carry the suitcase a few meters?
I recently understood that I can decide for myself whether I want to carry a load or not."
Now I tell other people about it and offer them to have that experience too.

Ask 10 people the following question, "Please tell me what invisible baggage I have been carrying around for a long time."
Write the answers in your BEEP!Book. Many of the answers you get here could be golden keys to Emotional Healing Processes.
Find space holders and do all these processes. That's how you get rid of emotional baggage.

Every day for a week, do a Whizzbang process where you spend 5 minutes in your home gathering things that you no longer need.
It's important that you throw or give the items away immediately afterward, otherwise they'll be lying around your place and your Gremlin will eventually carry them back to the old place.
Put anything you want to throw away in the trash can right away (even if it's 11:25pm right now and it's raining outside). If someone wants an item, have them pick it up immediately.
Only part with things that belong to you alone.

Put on all the clothes that belong to you one by one.
Sort out all the clothes you haven't worn for more than a year and put them in a pile.
Put on this pile also all the clothes that do not fit you anymore.
Immediately put the whole pile into a bag and take it to the old clothes container.
(There are old clothes containers in Germany. For example, the Red Cross puts them out. The Red Cross empties the containers, sorts out what is still usable and the good parts go to people who cannot afford to buy clothes).

Stop buying groceries for a month.
Instead, eat whatever is in your pantry. Open cans and make a delicious soup with those old potatoes that have sprouts and have been sitting in your basement for weeks. Invite friends over for a leftover dinner.
Finally soak those dry lentils that have been sitting there in the back of the cupboard for years. Lentils are wonderful powerhouses and provide you with valuable protein.
When the cupboard is bare, give them away.
Invite a friend over and waltz around the freed-up space in your kitchen.

If you're thinking of getting a pet, don't.
If you love dogs, borrow one from the shelter and walk it once in a while.
The shelter is full of animals that have been surrendered because their owners didn't want to carry the load.

We no longer feel the weight of our body because we have become accustomed to it. Learn how to do a headstand. In the headstand, you suddenly feel the flesh on your bones being pulled toward the center of the earth again. You physically feel your weight very clearly.

Take a month off from all family arrangements, whether conscious or unconscious. I mean such arrangements as:
- It's never been talked about, but you call your mother every Sunday.
- Of course, people give each other gifts for Christmas.
- Christmas presents are simply part of Christmas.
- At Christmas, all the children come to see their mother and father.
- It's rude to put your uncle up in a hotel, he can stay in your apartment.
- If grandpa offers you the schnapps, you have to drink it.
- Aunt Erna painted the picture; hang it up.
- Mother cuts the roast and distributes the meat.
Imagine how each of these arrangements is a heavy backpack. Decide not to lug that backpack for a whole month.

Write down your worries for one week. Take a separate sheet of paper for each worry and begin each sentence with the words, "I worry about ..."
At the end of the week, ask yourself if you want to keep all these worries.
If your answer is yes, keep collecting. If your answer is no, ask three people if they want the worries.
If someone takes them, you are rid of them. If no one wants them, make a fire and burn the worries.
